Position and specialisations Tim Stone is a partner in the Company Commercial Department and a member of the Management Committee. Tim handles a broad range of commercial legal work and has particular experience in a number of areas including share and business acquisitions and disposals, company de-mergers and reorganizations, company share buy-back arrangements and joint venture agreements. Tim is also a member of the firm’s Employment Law Department and regularly advises clients on a variety of employment law issues including the legal consequences of business acquisitions and disposals and the preparation of contracts and other employment policies. Tim is a regular speaker at external events and seminars and also occasionally delivers lectures to post-graduate students on Bournemouth University’s Legal Practice Course.
Education and career Tim holds an LLB(Hons) law degree and joined Steele Raymond in 1998 following completion of his studies at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice. Tim was appointed an Associate of the firm in 2001 and became a partner in April 2004. Personal information Tim was born in 1971, is married and lives in Poole.
