I re-joined Steele Raymond LLP in September 2009 as a Trainee Solicitor having initially worked for the firm as a para-legal. I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2007 in BA Accounting and Law with First Class Honours. I later went on to study the Legal Practice Course (Corporate route) at the College of Law in Moorgate, London, finishing in 2009.
I had my first seat in the Private Client and Tax department where I was involved in tax planning schemes and trusts, the administration of a number of estates and drafting Wills. I am interested in tax planning and it was a great opportunity to work alongside Paul Causton, Head of the Taxation Team.
I have now begun the second seat of my training contract in the Dispute Resolution department and have already been exposed to a wide variety of work including matrimonial, employment and company disputes. I am particularly enjoying attending court hearings and look forward to gaining more experience in this seat. |
