Services: Environmental Law Bill Oliver has a particular interest in Environmental Law and contaminated land issues.
He has lectured on the legal aspects of the contaminated land regime which was introduced, as Part II A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, by the Environment Act 1995 and by subsequent statutory guidance.
Bill has been involved in a number of large scale corporate and property transactions where environmental and contaminated land matters have been an issue. He has dealt with the transactional aspects of this work, giving advice in particular on environmental due diligence and disclosures, warranties and indemnities.
Bill has also advised on waste management licence issues and on the extent of liability for statutory and other nuisances arising from breaches of Environmental Law.
