Law firm Steele Raymond LLP has appointed Katherine Thorne as a trainee solicitor and awarded under-graduate Katy Arnatt with a 40-week work placement, which forms part of the LLB (Hons) Law degree at Bournemouth University.
Katherine joins Steele Raymond LLP’s established graduate training programme following the completion of the LLB Law degree and a Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Bournemouth University.A former work placement student at Steele Raymond LLP, Katherine will now commence the firm’s two-year interactive and practical trainee solicitor programme to become a qualified assistant solicitor, undertaking placements in different departments.The programme will provide Katherine with the opportunity to work with well qualified and experienced Steele Raymond LLP personnel across a wide range of commercial and private law.She will commence her training in the private client department.
Katy will start her work placement within the firm’s company commercial department.An integral part of Katy’s four-year law degree at Bournemouth University, the work placement will enable Katy to build on the theory and knowledge gained on the degree and will also provide her with the opportunity to gain experience from first-class solicitors within the firm.
