More than 45 golfers donned their plus fours for the annual Steele Raymond LLP Golf Day, held at Barton-on-Sea Golf Club, Hampshire.    

Twelve teams consisting of three to four players enjoyed a day’s golf, with a triumphant Paul Lovesy winning the individual stableford competition, entering the clubhouse with a score of 41 points.  

Raising funds for charity, Steele Raymond LLP donated £345 in total (£10 for every gross birdie scored and £25 for every gross Eagle scored) to The Richie Keefe Life & Soul Trust.  The winning team scoring 98 included Richard Healey, Peter Kemp, Malcolm Tice and David Steele.  
The runner up team scored 96 included Tim Stone, David Errington, Ed Bates and Rob Jones. 

The successful day’s golf was followed by a high tea and prize giving in the clubhouse, where other prizes awarded included the longest drive, which was won by Richard Healey of Nusantara Energy Plc and nearest the pin, won by Peter Kemp of Aedifico Ltd. 

Peter Rolph of Steele Raymond LLP, who presided over the prize giving ceremony, said: “This year’s Golf Day has been a tremendous success with many of our clients taking part and thoroughly enjoying the day. With 32 gross birdies & 1 gross Eagle scored we have managed to raise £345 for The Richie Keefe Life & Soul Trust, which we hope will benefit the work of the charity. We have been holding the annual Steele Raymond LLP Golf Day at Barton-on-sea Golf Club for many years and we very much look forward to returning to the course for next year’s event.”
