We are currently seeking to recruit a highly experienced Residential Property Legal Secretary in Bournemouth to join our Residential Property team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented person to join our busy and highly regarded Residential Property team based in Bournemouth. The successful applicant will provide support to fee earners who are focused on providing a very high-quality residential property service to valued clients.
The role would suit someone with experience of working as a residential property legal secretary, although we will consider applications from experienced commercial property legal secretaries with a willingness to learn. Working within the firm’s Property Group, on occasion the team provides additional secretarial cover, where required, to the firm’s Commercial Property and Residential Development teams.
The successful candidate will be IT literate, highly competent and will be able to manage a varied workload to include secretarial assistance, document production, file and diary management, office administration and assisting with routine aspects of real estate transactions including Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and Land Registry applications.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work within a team to meet tight deadlines are essential for the position. Knowledge of the Land Registry and Stamp Duty Land Tax would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be given.
