Steele Raymond LLP welcomes newly qualified solicitor to its top tier Commercial Team in Bournemouth

Jessica, who is a Bournemouth local, has successfully reached the end of her two-year training contract with the firm and moves into her new role as a qualified solicitor.

After studying at Exeter University and completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Bournemouth University, Jessica joined the firm in 2019 as a trainee solicitor.

During the past two years, Jessica has gained a wealth of legal experience in the firm’s Corporate, Family, Dispute and Commercial teams.

Speaking on her appointment, Jessica said:

“I have enjoyed all of the teams that I have worked in throughout my training contract but, in particular, I have really enjoyed my time in the Commercial Team and found the work to be very interesting. I am excited to be moving into the team permanently.”

Speaking on her experiences as a trainee at Steele Raymond, Jessica continued:

“I have had a great two years and feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in different areas of the law. I have felt listened to at every stage; the support I have received has been excellent and has really inspired me.”

She continued:

“I am delighted to have had the opportunity to complete my training contract with Steele Raymond and I am even more thrilled to be remaining with the firm as a qualified solicitor, Steele Raymond has always been my first choice”.

Jessica joins the firm’s growing Commercial Team in Bournemouth, which has recently welcomed top commercial solicitor Alexandra Clapp. Alexandra’s arrival has helped to make the wider Corporate & Commercial Group one of the largest and most experienced legal teams across the South Coast.

In her role as a newly qualified solicitor, Jessica will continue to work alongside Steele Raymond’s commercial solicitors, providing clients with advice and guidance on a wide range of matters including commercial contracts, intellectual property, and joint ventures.
