“I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my career at Steele Raymond. Since day one the welcome I received has been phenomenal. Having joined at an exciting time for the firm alongside a number of other new joiners the feeling has been universally received.”
“To be working alongside the likes of Emma Stainwright and Chris Dolan, both renowned experts in residential development work, is something that made the move to Steele Raymond the obvious one for me. Having worked with Chris previously I’m looking forward to playing a part in the hard work and success of the Residential Development team.”
Emma Stainwright, Partner and Head of the Residential Development team, welcomed Sam to the firm by saying:
“Sam’s appointment comes at a really important stage for the firm as our Property Group, consisting of commercial property, residential property, SIPP & SASS Pension property and residential development teams, continues to grow during what is widely being seen as a really turbulent time in the property sector due to Brexit and the impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic on the UK economy.
“With his significant experience in managing private and large scale residential property developments, the relationships and trust that Sam has earned across the region for development work helps us take an important step forward in our plans for strategic growth in our Residential Development Team.”
Commenting on his role working alongside land-owner and developer clients, Sam continued:
“The sheer scale and level of technical support associated with complex development projects means a development lawyer essentially becomes an extension of the client’s team. Living and breathing every twist and turn on the journey alongside the client is all par-for-the-course and it’s something that, as a development lawyer, I thrive on.”
