Meet José

Keeping the wheels turning – and finding a life outside shift work

Why he moved

José spent years on rolling shifts in technology support, finishing at midnight and studying engineering around the edges. Steele Raymond offered a Monday-to-Friday IT Assistant role with room to grow. “It was a chance to do IT from the start and learn everything I need,” he says.

Culture & support

The four-person IT team values curiosity and kindness. No one is shy about asking for help, and neurodiversity is understood rather than judged. José’s ADHD means he likes clear priorities; colleagues happily give them. He prides himself on fast responses: “People always say, ‘You guys are really fast.’ Why wouldn’t we be?”

Advice for future joiners

Bring a friendly manner, a willingness to learn and the confidence to admit when you don’t know something. Steele Raymond will give you the tools, the trust and the supportive culture to turn service moments into real career momentum.
