Amy Baugh

Amy is an Associate in our Family Team. She advises on divorce and finances, private children disputes and disputes between unmarried couples, with additional experience in injunctions and relationship agreements for married and unmarried clients.

Amy is a Mental Health First Aider and places particular emphasis on protecting vulnerable clients while helping them make decisions they will still be comfortable with when emotions settle. She ensures every new client leaves their initial meeting with a clear plan.

Who Amy helps ranges from individuals with nuanced pensions and investment positions to families managing international elements or complex personal dynamics. She is experienced with Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) arrangements, international assets and cryptocurrency within financial cases, and multifaceted children matters that include international aspects, substance use or mental health issues. Clients say Amy calms situations, prevents missteps and allows them to focus on daily life without being overwhelmed by the case. Her ability to build trusted connections is often evidenced by previous clients continuing to share their personal journeys with her.

Amy works in a pragmatic and cost aware fashion. She explores avenues aside from litigation where they will get the best result for her clients, collaborates well with the other side and sets out tactical steps so clients know what is coming next. Her involvement in the local family law community through Resolution and Young Resolution (YRes), and the relationships she has nurtured with other solicitors, support constructive negotiations and have contributed to consistent five-star feedback.

Clients and referrers see clear advice from Amy, defined next steps and steady movement toward workable outcomes.
