Steele Raymond Shows Support for YMCA Big Sleep Easy

We’re proud to once again support the YMCA Big Sleep Easy, an event that raises both awareness and vital funds to tackle homelessness in our local community.

YMCA BIG Sleep Easy

This year’s event takes place on Saturday 18th October at Diverse Abilities’ Treehouse and is a fantastic opportunity for individuals, teams, and organisations to step out of their comfort zones in support of a great cause. Participants are encouraged to set a fundraising target, wrap up warm, build a cardboard shelter, and spend the night sleeping rough so that others don’t have to.

Each year, the YMCA Big Sleep Easy raises thousands of pounds to help combat homelessness across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, and the wider Dorset area. The funds raised provide support for those experiencing homelessness, giving them access to tools, resources, and guidance to move towards independent living and a more stable future.

Alongside raising much-needed funds, the event also encourages team building, informal networking, and showcases a collective commitment to supporting our local homeless community.

Joe Spring, Partner, Head of our Wills, Trusts & Probate team, and member of our ESG Committee, commented: “Taking part in the YMCA Big Sleep Easy in Bournemouth is a humbling experience for everyone who takes part. It’s a small gesture, but one that helps shine a light on the harsh realities of homelessness and the vital work the YMCA does to support those in need and I am very proud to be a part of it once again.”
