Employment Law for Employers

Our team of commercially-minded and pragmatic employment lawyers specialise in all aspects of employment and HR law for companies and organisations.

Specialist Employment Law Solicitors

We provide commercial legal advice to employers and their HR teams on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious.

It is our aim to fully understand your needs and the needs of your business, and in doing so to guide our clients through complex and often high-stake legal matters. We understand that employment law is a rapidly evolving area and, as your legal advisors, we are here to help you navigate that change to ensure compliance in a way that works for your organisation, whether as trusted advisor or a flexible extension of your HR or management teams.

Our experienced employment lawyers and litigators work alongside a variety of businesses and organisations from large FTSE 100 corporates to SMEs and owner-managed companies. Among our many valued clients, we have acted for employers in the publishing, education, marine, real estate, retail, healthcare and technology sectors.

From HR advice to employment tribunal representation

Although we have successfully guided many employers through the employment tribunal process, most clients wish to avoid the ‘worst case’ scenario, and our wide-ranging experience means that we are well placed to advise our clients on alternative routes to resolve disputes.

Commercially minded employment lawyers

We advise employers on all aspects of employment, from recruitment through to disciplinary actions, grievances, redundancies and other employment terminations and post-termination matters.

We also regularly provide employers with support and legal guidance through the employment aspects of acquisitions and disposals, many of which involve the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE).

In addition to our employment law services, we offer businesses the unrivalled expertise of our corporate and commercial litigation and dispute resolution solicitors, ensuring that you, as an employer, benefit from an end-to-end approach to all of your legal needs.
