by Nick Davies, 29 July 2014
One of the South Coast’s leading commercial law firms, Steele Raymond, are extremely pleased to have acted for the shareholders of Subsea Vision Limited on the sale of that company to Fendercare Marine Limited, Part of the James Fisher and Sons Plc group.
Subsea was founded in 2002 and currently operates a fleet of 5 remote operated vehicles which are used in a variety of applications including the oil and offshore industries inside and outside the UK.
The team at Steele Raymond was led by Nick Davies, a partner in the Company Commercial department who said:
“We have acted for Subsea Vision for a number of years and it has been very satisfying advising and assisting the owners as they added value to and grew their business. We have seen Subsea Vision grow into a great business and it was no surprise that a large company would want to acquire the company. As a team, the company commercial department at Steele Raymond advises on many company sales and purchases each year and we really enjoy the work and helping owners achieve their aspirations. ”
Chris Bryant said;
“Thanks to the highly professional team at Steele Raymond, the takeover went very smoothly. Their help and support proved invaluable. It enabled us to enter into discussions and negotiations with the confidence that all legal aspects and requirements had been thoroughly investigated. The advice we received was first class”.
