Steele Raymond are shortlisted for two prestigious awards

This double recognition for the work of the firm’s Property Group, which comprises the firm’s specialist commercial property, residential development, property litigation and residential property teams, comes after a year of significant growth both in terms of personnel and high-profile transactions. The Group has welcomed four new partners in this time and is actively seeking to attract further top legal talent.

The nomination for the regional South West Property Awards (SWPA) is a first for the firm and highlights its increase in profile across the South West. The awards ceremony, which recognises and celebrates the outstanding achievements of people, businesses and organisations from across the South West region, is to take place in Bristol on the 13 November and will see Steele Raymond go up against notable competition in large and national law firms such as Ashfords, Bevan Brittan, Michelmores, Foot Anstey and TLT.

Speaking on the SWPA nomination, Chris Twaits, partner and head of the firm’s Commercial Property Team, said:

News of the firm’s shortlisting in the South West Property Awards came hot on the heels of another nomination for ‘Property Law Firm of the Year’ at the South Coast Property Awards (SCPA), an annual awards ceremony aimed at celebrating ‘the cream of professional talent’ across the region.

To be held at the Hilton Ageas Bowl on 29 September, the SCPA recognises standout contributions from property agents, developers, planners, consultants, property lawyers and dealmakers across the South Coast.
